But because of its high altitude you’re almost guaranteed to get plenty of snow during the ski season. In fact last ski season Livigno was breaking all kinds of records for the amount of snow the town received meaning a prolonged ski season. In February of 2014 Living saw a whopping 236cm of snow fall in the upper slopes while the lower slopes gained 183cm in comparison to the previous year when only 201cm fell on the upper slopes and 67cm on the lower.
