Summer in Livigno
Each year, in early May, the ski lifts come to a stop in Livigno and the resort takes a pause before the summer season begins. With the snow gone from the village and the surrounding slopes, the sun gets to work and the white vista of winter is soon replaced by lush green pasture and colourful alpine flowers.
Livigno is easily accesible by road in the summer months from Italy and Switzerland.
